Who’s hat are you wearing

Are you wearing more than one hat? Wearing more than one hat is an idiom suggesting that you are carrying more than one set of responsibilities. Are you both the weaver and keeper of the loom? Oh, how the weaver weaves.

Self-awareness will open your eyes to many things. One being ~ are you being woven into someone else’s web of dreams. You do realize that you can be too busy to take on anymore and it’s more than o.k. to say no. You can convey it gently and sweetly and still mean it ~ for example; I am sorry that just doesn’t work for me right now.  You don’t need to explain yourself just be strong for you.
There is a ‘hat’ that fits you perfectly and really looks good on you too. It’s a lot like finding the right pair of shoes, you just know when you put them on that they are the exact fit for you. The key to finding the perfect ‘hat’  is knowing how well it compliments what your true gold passion is. It will assist you in stepping up your game. This will be your personal preferred ‘hat’ — your job, your responsibility, your strength and no one has the right to make you wear their favourite and/or their style.
If you want to upgrade, that is quite right, if that is your choice. However, I do highly recommend delegating responsibilities to not just anyone for the sake of letting go, it really has to be the right person and be the right fit… but that is a whole other teaching. My advice here is to not wear too many hats at one time. It is not good for you health-wise nor is it conducive to spending valuable time with family and friends which I might add is extremely important to your well-being, mind, body, and soul. Namaste

This is a very good teaching and full of truths but. . . for those who are alone, unpartnered, without any real community, and dependent upon themselves for everything related to survival, many hats are the necessity, not a choice.
