Do you persist to resist?

TRUE GOLD

Do you persist to resist?

Change is peeking on the other side of the mountain and it looks bright. There is life but I can’t quite make it out. Is it for you and/or for me? Some say that change is happening so fast in this world that they can hardly keep up. Other comments I have overheard; some changes are good and others not so much; some are temporary others permanent and so we resist. I say they occur all around us all of the time with everything and dare I say everyone is subject to change. But why do we resist? Could it be our never ending search for perfection or do we think we are almost “there”— everything we have ever wanted in life is right there. You can see it, feel it, taste it and you are comfortable —so you persist to resist. Many of us resist because of the fear of the unknown. As I am considering BIG change in my life this is timely to ponder.

So let’s look at some truth about change.

Realize change is part of life and human nature
Find your passion and go with it. All good
Read, Think, Learn —keeping your mind young and alert
Do not resist. This could invariably be the thing you’ve been looking for all of your life
Take a chance – Life is short
Stay active. It really gets those little happy endorphins bopping.
Laugh – have some fun. Try not to take everything so seriously
If you decide to make a change in your life. A positive attitude will go a long way
A life without change is a rut. Allowing change is true gold
Persistence is great if you persist in staying healthy mind, body and soul
