On my quest for optimal health, I decided to start running again, do yoga and some aquatics. Feeling better now in my 60’s then I felt when I was in my 30’s and 40’s. I have educated myself in self health care and graduated with highest Honors as a Natural Health Consultant, a certified Nutritional Product Advisor, currently taking Yoga Teacher Training and enrolled in the Raw Chef Academy. Why do I do this? Well it’s because you and I matter. It took me a lifetime to realize I matter. My desire is to speak from my experiences, knowing of course that there are millions of blogs out there, I do still want to make a difference.
My heart’s cry is that you will see that there is hope for you too ~ mind, body and soul naturally, we cannot separate the three. Having said that….this particular blog has to to do with my personal 100 day challenge on an Eating Raw Journey. This is day 10 and already I am seeing a change. I am not feeling as sluggish as I do when eating processed food. So far, so good as the saying goes.
I admit this will affect my Christmas traditional turkey dinner and stuffing but it’s all for a great cause. We all know that health is wealth right? So ~ worth it.
This morning I had my traditional smoothie. I learned a long time ago that I function better when I start my day off with a smoothie. Fresh fruit, raw coconut milk, vegan, gluten and wheat free protein powder. Delicious as always. I do change it up once in a while and have a green smoothie. 🙂
Lunch has already passed…I was at the dentist this morning so that explains this late post. When I got home for my lunch I had raw sprouted hummus and sesame chia bagel crisps (gluten free).
Dinner will be this….. Raw Walnut Pate served with cucumber rounds …you can find it at The Rawtarian.com

1/8 cup raw soy sauce (nama shoyu)
